Problem with "forced tempo" in warp mode (Live Intro)

Post by vimcortez » Wed Nov 25, 2009 10:52 pm

Hi

I'm new to Live and I'm stuck with this problem:

I import a bass riff into live as an audio clip.

When I activate Warp mode, Live thinks the loop is at 82.88 bpm. I can't find how to tell Live that the correct tempo is 120 bpm.

And moreover, if I de-select warp mode, I can't loop the clip, which is what I want to do.

What am I missing? Can't Live simply loop the clip at the tempo I set?

In Live LE you can change the tempo that is "guessed" by the warp mode, and even type it in the relevant field; but not in Intro?

thank you

Hi Vimcortez,

there are different strategies, you could do it like this:
- click on the 1st warp marker to select it
- right click and choose "warp from here (straight)" - all warp markers but the first one should get deleted
- adjust the SEQ BPM paramter

Best,
