I checked the usage of memory and my live set creates SWAP files of 1 giga, which is huge, this must saturates the computer relly easyly, so the solution then would be maybe not a single clip in ram usage? but what about my crappy 4200 rpm laptop drive then?

Um... I appear to have developed this exact same problem with a large set made entirely in 4.

Turning the network card off seems to have helped a bit but will try further tonight...

Never had it happen before. Was doing some work on a set before playing this sat night and suddenly ran into this problem (increased the size of the set but not that significantly). Basically it sometimes (no apparent rhyme or reason) makes a glitch on launching a clip (or sometimes when tweaking a parameter). Same kind of glitch as if i pull the power out and my laptop switches to battery mode.

I'm hoping pulling the network cable out might have helped. I got 30 mins glitchless last night after doing this. My set will be quite painful if this hasn't sorted it reliably... Shame cos I never used to worry at all about Live messing up on me.

About 150 scenes and 10 tracks. Not sure how big the set is. Will check when back at home.

It's a little over 1 MB.

Seem to be getting better results with my RME Digiface than my Echo...

Nope.

It's still buggered and VERY unpredictable. Sometimes it does it loads and sometimes not at all. Rendering Live pretty much unuseable for me at the moment!?

Have a gig tonight which is going to be fun!
