Since adding APC40, Ableton no longer recognizes pcr1 knobs

hello there, while i've generally been thrilled with live 7 suite, and my apc40, there is a small bit of sand in the vaseline.

since adding the APC40 to my arsenal, despite live visibly receiving data from the knobs on my edirol pcr-1, it longer seems to see them as controllers, as i cannot assign them in midi-map as i used to. the keys on the pcr-1 work fine, however. which seems really weird.

any suggestions?

Is "Remote" as well as "Track" enabled for the pcr in Live's MIDI prefs? I guess so, since you say Live is visibly receiving data from the pcr.

Try changing the MIDI transmit channel of the pcr. Perhaps it is stepping on the APC's toes?

i should note that the keys for the edirol perform fine as note controllers, but when trying to map them to other parameters, they no longer function as they used to. again, live receives data, but won't recognize them in the mapping window.
