yup. I am in the same boat right now. I just posted a topic about it.
I worked on about 10 tracks, all of them open fine but one just will not open.
The program hangs with the spinning beach ball (i am on a mac).
Its frustrating

You might want to post the used Live versions / OS.
You can mail me the .als files to check the problem.

Using Live 8.1.2b4 on Windows 7 x64... Yeah, I know it's a beta, but it seemed to fix a probelm where live was crashing while moving stuff about.

Anyway, I've seem to have managed to solve the problem by dragging the parts out of the live set from the browser. If you still want me to send the corrupt .als set I can do that.
