Hi,
I've got a bunch of Akai sample CDs and was happy to be able to open them through the Find Sample CDs function. Now I've got Partitions A through I showing under Sampler > Imports > Akai-1. What do I do now? I'd like to save them to disk so that I don't have to mount the CD every time I need it, because it takes a long time before Live has found all the samples.
Yesterday I opened all 5 CDs I have, assuming that Live would create a library on one of my hard drives, but I can't find any trace of that.
Is it possible to save these samples to disk and if so, how is it done?
thanks/regards

Save Akai samples to disk
Re: Save Akai samples to disk
Hi Marten,
the samples should have already been imported to your Library folder, you should be able to find them without the sample CDs now, correct?
Best,
Jörg

Re: Save Akai samples to disk
Hi Jorg,
Thanks for your reply. I looked in my Library folder and for some reason the samples weren't saved the first time. The folders for each CD were created, but no samples were saved. Now it seems to be working. Maybe it was a permissions thing, but I didn't change anything. If Win7 is anything like Vista it's probably a permissions thing, right?
Anyway, it's working now.
Thanks again/regards
Marten
