As in topic. I wondering to switch form 10.5 to 10.6 beacause 10.6 is purportedly more efficient.
Any sugestions?

you could install snow leopard on a separate partition along with all of your plugins and input device drivers and give it a try - personally i have only had minimal issues since snow leopard launched…

After using osx from 10.0 I decided I would always be a version behind, to many issues.
Os 10.5 has been like a rock for the year or so I have been using it, there isn't a chance in hell I would risking any of my free time dealing with a problem with one of my core apps or anything for that matter...
My policy is if it's not broke don't fix it, especially as the weather is getting warmer...
