Hi,
i am on mac and i think about delete the defaultpackages folder inside the content folder from the liveapplication.(right click on live application.)
this will free 1,42 Gb of disc space.
is this safe?

I've done the same in the past and also had no issues... I guess they're there just in case you need to reinstall a pack in the future, but the vast majority of them were anyway Suite packs which don't apply to my non-Suite Live.
