Suffering from the double-CPU-load spike bug, Live 813/814?

To me it seems like any combination of plug-ins causes a double CPU spike. The way it always goes about double makes me think its Live's processing and that it just seems to happen with any group of plug-ins, suggests it isn't a particular plug.

So I wonder, anyone else getting the same problem..? Doesn't seem like its just me reading all the CPU spike threads on here.

I must say that I experienced some spikes running only 8 tracks or so with only built-in fx and instruments and M4L.

The results is some fast freezes and cracks/pops

My first response on the ableton forum!

Ableton haven't responded to my insistence that there's some sort of bug to do with its program processing lots of effects at once, makes me resent the purchase a bit to be honest.

But come on I know there's more than two of us that get these spikes. People who use any plug-ins, doesn't matter which. Or none at all as in the above case! People who are finding the CPU spiking up to almost exactly double every so often, making projects almost intolerable to work on as a result.

Please chime in below if you are one such person!!
