finding files from old live libraries
finding files from old live libraries
I recently opened up a session from 2006 and found a few impulse files missing. I was able to download live 4 with the sample content and I found 2 of the missing files, but there are still a handful left. I believe I was using live 5 at the time. When I download the live 5 version it doesn't seem to come with the library files. Anyone know of a place I can find these missing files?
Re: finding files from old live libraries
Do you already have the "Live 7 legacy pack" installed?

i don't!
I see a bunch of legacy downloads there that I probably don't have installed. Thanks for the link. I'll get those on my system tonight and hopefully they'll be in there.

Re: finding files from old live libraries
the drum files I was missing have now been found. Took a bit of digging...
Still two simpler instruments that I can't find. I've downloaded all the legacy files that I could find...
The files are "Lectric Piano.wav" and "String Machine.wav". A found a version of what seems like another entirely different sound for String Machine... but it's not the one that was in my original session. Any idea where to find these?
The drum files were the most important... if I don't find these I should be able to re-create them or use something else.
