big big problem here

hi people, I'm new here and i m sorry if i hadn't introduce my self yet but I have a big problem that's kind of scary.

when i try to open the set i was working with in these days crazy live says
"this set contains features that are limited or unavailable in live 8"
details
"collision instrument is not available"
"you can use this live set but you will not be able to save any changes made to it"

i read that some other people had the same problem.... how should i fix it??
i've been working on the set for weeks so plz help me

freeze or bounce the collision audio and delete collision from your set

you should then probably be able to save any changes

Hi Trilussa,

which Live version do you use? If it is an older one, please try with our latest Live 8.1.4, we fixed some related bugs here.

i installed the 8.1.4 version and still have the problem.
i deleted all the channels and try to save to see if it was one on of them creating the deal... but nothing it still doesn't save the set.

this track is really important for me and my manager will pay for the job so i really don't know what to do

Of course, when you get this message and select to load the set anyways, you switch to temporary demo mode and can't save anymore as long as it is loaded. Removing the tracks won't work here.

I have the same problem please help! Any set that i have worked on before and saved many times before has all of a sudden started to come up with a message saying i cant save any changes because it uses an instrument that isint aurthorised even though i have not got them instaled.

Please send a mail to support@ableton.com, including a brief description again of what problems you experience, what exact error message you get, the Live and OS version you use and attach the problematic Live set(s). Please also include my name in the mail topic or body text.

I'll have a look into the sets then.

Send an email to support@ableton.com with the error message, and attach your set to the email. I had the same problem, and they got back to me within 24 hours with an attached set that was fixed. I don't know if it is bug in the program or what, but they fixed it for me. I just had to go back and assign the midi instruments again, which they listed for me in the email.
