AM I the only one that has noticed this?
Every knob and fader on the unit causes this steppy - Zipper sound when assigned to 'Anything' in Live. It's ecspecially noticable with a filter sweep or eq sweep effect but it's also heard on the regular Volume faders.
I have tried switching usb cables, plugging it into a powered hub, plugging it 'Directly' into the mac's usb port, and I have tried this out on Both my Macbook Pro AND my MacPro tower.
Just to further test, I plugged in my cheap m-audio X-session pro, assigned the same exact controls and Voila! Smooth as Butter.
I hope I don't have a faulty unit or something. It's like the midi values the controls are sending out are Ultra Low resolution or something.
HERE are AUDIO EXAMPLES:
Both Start out with the vcm600 and then after the short silence It's with the M-audio x-SessionPro. U should notice the Zipper effect on the 1st half of the audio and Not on the 2nd half.

_and here;s a zip of both if u can't/don't want to stream:

ps. Can any of u Vestax vcm600 user out there please do a favor and plug in some headphones and test this out yourself and see if you hear the subtle (but totally annoying) zippery sound that I am talking about?
pss. Forgot to mention that this is happening Both in Native Control Surface Mode AND regular midi map mode.
