Helo ScottV,
I understand that your reply is not for me

but for the guys speaking about "Will Ableton company ever get 8 stabilized".
HoweverAs I am working in a CODE DEV team, I would like to answer about the DEVELOPEMENT of Code at large: I would like to pinepoint the fact that in dev team, you usually use DEV Code Quality Processes in order to release a code that won't usually crash (I am speaking of crashes not bugs).
The fact that Live8 contains more functions doesnot excuses the bugs/crashes (I put priority on crashes rather than bugs which I can live with). If you look at the forum, I noticed that since Ableton 8 is released a lot of people are complaining, even the boss of Ableton mentionned it in a video - This is very courageous of this guy and this is why I continue to trust Ableton company - But release 8.2 disappointed me : A soon as i installed the new version -> Crash. And to be honnest, the support team never answered to me yet!
All these issues may show that the DEV team doesnot control the version 8(code is too big?)...
For me Live 7 had less bugs but less functionality's

On the other hand, I never experienced a crash with Ableton Live 7.
For the crashes report - you are right. Excellent point again about Ableton Live Company.
Don't take my comment badly or criticism .. I like Ableton Live. but really, those issues reduce the trust I have in this tool and I am looking at Maschine from NI. I will try it by the end of month (not before because I am sure ableton live will release something before

) ...
Cheers!
