help with driver error compensation

Post by the electric antelope » Mon Nov 15, 2010 1:13 am

Hello Community,
I have been using live for a while and finally purchased a mixer instead of using built in inputs.
My setup is Mac Mini and Mackie Onyx-1220i.
I am working through the Driver error compensation tutorial and can't figure out why the start of the track I am recording is offset from where it actually start recording.
From what i can tell my recording should a bit of delay but the recording itself should start at 0. That doesn't seem to be happening. Perhaps I have something wrong.

thanks for your help,

huh. it looks like it has something to do with that set itself. My core audio and ins have the warning !!! next to them. If I open a regular set the recording is fine.

so I got it to work. but i feel like I am doing something wrong. I had to set up a negative value in the Driver error compensation to get the recorded waveform to align with the original wave form.
