As I quote above, in version 8.2 of Live and the latest version of Native Instruments Battery
I can't configure any parameters.
I know live pretty well after 5 years, but am I missing something.
Go on, shock me?

To clarify, have you entered "configure" mode to map the parameters that you want to assign to the Live panel?

Yes ! absolutely.
Correct configure > automate controls through live does not do anything with Battery.
Odd, I wish I coulod send you a screen capture mini film, but nothing works.
I'm not bitter, please feel calm relaxed about this, but it's an odd one for sure, are you able to test this out with a copy of Battery at your dissposal..?

Have you assigned parameter IDs/CCs to what you want to automate using Battery's automation view? You need to assign parameter IDs in Battery first.

I will try that, thanks for the reply.
Usually I just configure and move the control I want to configure, and it pops up in the instrument window in Live, as you know with most other instruments it's easier than, having to call up a seperate control cofiguration for the instrument as well.
That being said, for now that will be perfectly acceptible, perhaps someone at NI or Live it can add it to a list of possible inhancements for the future.
Regards.
