Midi Map versus Rack Macro Map - EQ Eight / Auto Filter bug?

Hi:

1) midi map a controller (0-127) to frequency of Auto Filter or EQ Eight
2) change minimum mapping value to something other than 30Hz (like maybe 2k).

Ok everything works fine.

1) Now put a Auto Filter or EQ Eight in a rack
2) Map a macro knob to frequency
3) change minimum mapping value to something other than 30Hz (like maybe 2k).
4) midi map (0-127) to the macro knob

Everything looks like it is working fine, but it does not sound like it is working fine. For example it looks like the filter is only dropping to 2k Hz but it sounds like it is dropping to 30Hz.

Am I missing something?
