How to make Samples open in new default Simpler preset

I created a new default Simpler preset with a different default velocity than the normal preset. How do I make it so that when I drop a sample into a midi track or a Drum Racks slot, the sample opens with the new default Simpler preset?

You can save your Simpler preset thats no problem, just hold ctrl and click on the Simpler surface (on windows right click instead control) next to the word Simpler and than use the option- save as default preset.

I already have saved the default Simpler preset the way I want it. I get the new default preset when I drag and drop a new copy of Simpler from the Instruments folder.

I want to drag a sample into a new midi track or Drum Rack slot, and have the sample open in my new default Simpler preset...this isn't happening.

Library/Defaults/Dropping Samples/On Drum Rack

Library/Defaults/Dropping Samples/On Track View
