Exporting a 3hr Set

Post by Ethereal1 » Sun Apr 17, 2011 12:37 pm

Hey everyone,

need to help with this one, I use ableton to work on my show and I have done a 3hr set for the next show and now it won't let me export files greater than 2047mb and the time range is too long to be rendered into a single file 2749mb would be required for each rendered audio file.

whats the best way to get this done?

Pretty sure you'll have to do it in sections

The problem is the maximum OS file size, I think

What file format are you exporting to? AIFF? Try exporting to WAV, that should be able to handle up to just under 4GB.

Compare

Tried doing it in wav and aiff still says it's too big. I'll try rewiring it into logic or garage band

What OS are you using? Generally this is a limitation of the OS more than anything.
