midi mapping: clicking controller to arm track...

Post by pirco » Mon Apr 18, 2011 12:49 am

so I'm using external midi controllers to arm and disarm tracks (exclusively).
but when I accidentally click the controller button for an already armed track, it disarms it.
(click once=arm; click twice=disarm; click thrice=arm; etc.)

is it possible to prevent the controller to disarm an already armed track?

I'm playing live drums and switch sounds, sometimes mid-song. sometimes, when I accidentally hit the controller button for an already armed track then I disarm it and produce no sounds.

thanks
Macbook pro (2.16 GHz, 2GB RAM), Multiface II & HDSPe ExpressCard, Ableton Live (w/Session Drums), Roland TD-10 vDrums

see if you can change your controller's button mode, something other than toggle?
