Looper loops 2 bars out of 8

I've been searching, however I did not find anything on this issue.
Small video of looper looping the first two bars out of 8 (sorry about the audioquality).

This is the standard behaviour I get, or sometimes looping the first bar, skips to the last and then goes back to the first one - useless.
Am I missing something? I have had it working right, only occasionnally though.

I only want looper to follow song tempo, recording 8 bars and to have no control over the song.
Basic looping following everything else and having stuff assigned to midi and keys (works).

Try setting the "Song control" on the looper, to "None".
That should solve the problem.

That should really solve the problem, but as you can see the song control is set to "None".

I've actually had it work now, but it is RANDOM and unreliable!
