Way to just delete the number in front of the VST name?
Let's say I want to just call the track the name of the plugin and get rid of the number that is in front of the name of the VST. How do I do this?

How strange, the number comes back when I rename it. It starts as "8 Nerve" and when I rename it to "Nerve" and hit enter it changes back to "8 Nerve".

Does anyone have an idea how to work around this?

Do not repeat the instrument's name verbatim, but introduce some kind of variation, e.g. add or omit a letter. As long as your entry reads the same as the name Live gets from the instrument it seems to add the track number automatically.Kevin Rothi wrote:Does anyone have an idea how to work around this?

Ok, got it. That's kind of lame, but whatever. Thanks!
