TIme signature changes in rewire slave mode (Logic master )

Hi,
While the Live manual suggests that live will not be affected by any time signature changes from the master DAW
when used in rewire mode, what is the best - and best workflow - to get the bars lined up?

Closing everything and setting up the live time signature changes in standalone and then reopening it in rewire slave?

Any help would be welcome.
