 Post subject: older versions..

hey i just wanted to know if i can delete the older versions of ableton.....like 8.20..8.1.9...etc..im now running on 8.2.2 will update it to the new one tonight...but i just wanted to know if we can delete the oldr ones...and still open the old projects..which i made on 8.1.1 etc....its a suite which i bought a couple of years ago..

according to the installation FAQ section....each version of live is an independent installation...so you should be able to delete older versions.

Eddie said it all. And I can confirm this to be true as well ;-)

The whole idea is basically to allow you to "move back" if you for whatever reason don't feel comfortable with a newer version. But if you're sure you won't be using older versions then just get rid of them.

DO use the official de-installation function though.
