Why don't session clips have a "device on/off" envelope??

Because arrangement tracks sure do. Why would there be any difference??

I want my MIDI clip in one scene to have delay on it, but then when it goes to the next scene I want the delay off. Seems like it shouldn't be so hard.... :|

You could group the device, then create a new chain in the rack with no device. Then use the chain selector as a dry/wet knob which can be mapped to a macro. You can automate the macro knob from the clip envolope to turn the device 'on and off'.

Hope this helps,
