Hello. Just signed up to the forum. Been using Live on and off for years now. I do a lot of film scoring work, usually in Digital Performer or Logic, but Live always gets used in the process. On the current film I am working on, I decided to go all Live for composing to picture. Works good, but I have two questions related to the video window in Live (i'm on the latest version):
• Is there any way to always keep the video window open? Even if I switch to another application. It vanishes as soon as I leave Live.
• Is there any way to disengage the video from the editing cursor? When I'm doing midi and audio editing, I don't want to the video to keep jerking around as I move events. Even just selecting several midi notes makes the video scrub. It's pretty taxing on my machine, and makes selecting and editing sluggish. I've already re-exported my video to the optimal codec for Live.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: New forum member.... Video / Scoring question
No thoughts on this? I realize it might be sort of off topic here. Are there other people working in film or tv music on this forum? Just curious.
