midi map question using Lemur on iPad by editing the cc note

Post by bishbo2000 » Tue Jan 17, 2012 3:46 am

I can't seem to log into the Liine forum so have posted this question here.

I recently purchased Lemur for iPad and now have my head jammed attempting to program the thing, I'm sure the results will be worth it.

This is really a question about Ableton.

I Lemur I am using a multiball object which outputs x and y data continuously as it bounces around.

Say I want to map the x value to a filter's cutoff and the y value to the resonance when i set the multiball in motion both parameters will be going up and down randomly-ish.

To assign a midi note to a parameter in Ableton i enter midi map mode and (usually) move the knob, slider etc. However with the multiball both x and y values are being sent, I seem to only be able to map the x value. I would like to be able to edit the cc note in the midi mapping menu. for instance sending x to cc5 and y to cc6

have i explained this ok?
