non-global pitch automation?

Post by msintros » Thu Feb 09, 2012 6:08 am

if i assign a midi controller to the transpose controller in a particular clip, that controller only controls the pitch of whatever clip i have selected in the matrix. is there something i'm missing?

I wish I could say there were more possibilities, but you've summed it up :/

damn.. the best thing i got is to run a pitch shifting effect in and assign that, however, the live pitch shift algorithm is rather nice and it's hard to find a substitute that is cheap/free. or keep my mouse handy so i can select a clip.. but that also rules out multiple simultaneous pitch assigns. i would think in this day and age that wouldn't be asking too much.
