Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 user? Win764bit drivers any good?

Do any of you use Live 8 on a Win7 64bit machine with a Scarlett 2i2 interface?
Are the drives stable? I've been reading stuff about how bad the drivers are but they're all using version 2.1 and 2.2 on XP machines.
You only find information about drivers when people are having problems but you never see anyone say anything about a product when it works fine.

I've got a good TI firewire chip and my DPC latency is good so maybe a Firewire interface would be less trouble?

Or should I forget something as inexpensive as the Scarlett 2i1 and go with the Roland Quad Capture which seems to have people working on it who actually care about making good drivers?
