Motu Ultralite mk3 - audio not coming from assigned outputs

I just got a ultralite FireWire mk3. I usually (with my last interface) have my monitors coming out of the main outs and my guitar amp comes out of Analog output 3 for instance. While trying the interface out in Live today, I choose output 3 as usual - I made sure output three was made available in output tab section in the Live preferences.
The track meter showed audio coming out but I heard nothing. I then plugged the amp to the analog out 1 and the audio was heard, but the extention out in Live was still set to 3. Anyone else experience this?
