Quantiziation Triggering Randomly Changes

Hello,

I have my clips set to trigger at Quarter Note quantization. I usually trigger the next scene an eighth note before I want it to play. The metronome stays steady.

But...

Every so often, when I trigger a scene, the quantization acts as if it is set to "None" which then throws my metronome off and cues the scene an eighth note early. The music, including the metronome, all act as if the quantization was set to "None."

Why would the quantization setting randomly act like it is set to "None"?
