Consolidating

Does anyone know why the volume of my track is reduced when I consolidate?

It seems fine on short clips, but when I edit a track in Ableton for my DJ sets once I have made my edit and consolidate it the volume of the consolidated track drops.

When you consolidate, Live normalizes th audio, and thn lowers the clip volume to compensate.
