Fade range weirdness

Post by dblondin » Mon Mar 12, 2012 8:35 pm

I'm experiencing something odd with the sample select ruler in Sampler and wondering if this is a bug or I'm missing something...

I've got a single loop playing on one key with a fade range enabled. So with the ruler all the way to the left the sound is at full volume and all the way to the right it is at 0% volume. If I hit the key to play the loop with the ruler all the way to the left and (as it's playing) drag the ruler all the way to the right, it is still audible. Quiet but still audible. And if I release the key and hit it again, then I don't hear it. The problem being that it doesn't go all the way to 0% until I restart the note. Anyone know what might be going on?

Additionally if I do the opposite and start playing the loop with the fade range all the way at 0% and drag it to the left, the sound is very quiet until I release the key and hit it again.
