confused on what to use to chop samples..

Hello, guys! first time poster here.


A quick question from an absolute beginner...I'm trying to chop two samples and make them play on beat with each other. currently, i put both of the mp3's on a audio track and am editing the tempo of the songs with the warp markers...I also see that i have the simpler and the sampler for my choices aswell. What do you guys prefer to use? and what are the advantages of each one?

I'd just use Live, and not worry about simpler or sampler to confuse what you're trying to do.

Go through the included lessons and get yourself a better idea or understanding about how the software works.
