Live monopolizes the sound output and midi reception when in Rewire mode, so that Reason only receives midi and ouputs sound when Live is the uppermost window.
This is problematic because I want to adjust parameters in Reason w/o having to click on Live to make them audible.
I also downloaded a nifty program (linked from Ableton) called caps2midi that turns the computer keyboard into a midi input device, so you can use the keyboard to play the Reason synth and samplers. I want to input those sounds into Live. However, when Live is launched, and Reason becomes slave, this becomes non-operational.
BTW I am using emagic asio 2/6 i/o, and ibook 500 OS 9.2
