preview my drum samples

if i like to preview (listen) my drumsamples,
sometimes it took one or two seconds, if live play the sample. in the arrangement there are no problems! whats the problem? slow harddisk? ..i use a powerbook!

i am using a pc p3 800mhz, but i dont think it is a matter of cpu power.
which audiio bus did you set for the preview option? the masterbus or another one?

..the masterbus! I use a ibook g3 with 500 mhz, so
it should have enough power I think!

hi nanoloop.
i think you are right. this not a question of cpu power. i tried it myself some minutes ago and found out that Live sometimes (rarely) is playing the preview of the sample quietly. the next time Live plays it loud. Hhhmm... i don't know. i have to ask the developers in the next days. could be a bug, cause it only happens, if the preview is set to the masterbus in my case.
please remind me!!!

yes, thats what I mean! I think it`s not a
CPU problem....

we tested it today and you are right: it is not a question of cpu power...it's a bug

we'll work on it.
