frozen tracks with multiple tempos - strange results

hi, my apologies if the answer to this problem is transparent or has been answered before.. i'm afraid i'm short on time, and can't troubleshoot at the moment.

i have a set with both audio and midi tracks, and i've frozen all of them. the set contains a wide range of tempos, which are triggered by the scene labels.

i expected that clips would be frozen according to their original parameters, however, it appears that i can only pick one tempo to freeze all clips in a given track. when i play back the frozen clips at their originally intended tempos, i experience severe stretching artifacts. only the clips whose correct tempo was displayed on the clock at the time of the freeze play back as expected. is this correct?

any thoughts would be appreciated.
