Problem with BCR2000 and toggle mode

Post by stiang » Sun Jul 02, 2006 7:30 pm

Not sure if this is a Live issue or a BCR2000 issue (or an issue with yours truly), but I figured I'd give it a shot here first.

I'm trying to map two of the BCR2000 buttons to the scene up/down buttons in Live, but I always have to press the button twice for the scene to go up/down one slot. Simple enough to fix, I thought, just disable toggle mode for the buttons with the BCR2000 EDIT menu, but that doesn't seem to help.

What to do?

the only thing that comes to mind is the similar problem with the xsession controller, in which case it involves making sure that the button is always sending a 127 message, rather than alternating between 127 and 0. Hope that helps...

Sounds like you already did it, but take a look at how the toggle on/off message is changed here:

This definitely works for assigning scene select to a rotary. Might be another option for you,
