qq: unable to record

i was hoping somebody could give me a quick pointer.

when wanting to send the output of Live to a file, according to the manual, you only have to enable the input as master out and then arm the track for recording.

when i do this on a newly opened set, the red record circles appear just fine. but when i try to do the same thing on a set that i've been working on for a bit, the red record circles don't appear. so i can't actually record to a file.

any hints? what'm i doing wrong?

Hi !

To "RECORD AGAIN" on a track :
Click on the last symbol at the track 's buttom.
(the "active record" button).
That all fine ! ;)

hmm... it's still not working.

i assume you're talking about the little p/b like symbol, below the headphone button, right? i press it and it turns red but the clips still don't show any red record circle.

strange problem. is your soundcard able for the full-duplex mode? If yes, please contact: support@ableton.com and report your system.
