Track arm buttons do not switch correctly with MIDI CCs

I'm trying to turn track arming on and off - leaving them all on is not an option.

The manual states that switches get turned on for CC values > 64 and off for values < 64.

This works for most buttons. However, for the track arm and solo buttons, certain values have no effect, and certain values toggle the state - there seems to be no way to set the state directly.

I've been using 6.7, and just tried with 6.10, with the same problem.

Anyone else run into this, or found a solution?

Ableton have told me that these buttons work differently because of something under the hood. The workaround is to use note on/off instead.
