BAD_POOL_CALLER Bluescreen after running Live 6.0.10

Post by craftycurate » Mon Nov 19, 2007 11:19 pm

I've started getting some dreaded bluescreens after running Live 6.0.10. I think it's VST plugin related - I can't use MDA piano, or Cygnus, or some others as they give me memory spikes and other.

Thing is it doesn't always happen right away, on exiting and so on. It's often some time later.

Does anyone else get this?

Pentium D930, Win MCE, 2GB RAM, 7200 HD
Creative X-Fi Extreme, Live 6.0.10

Thanks
Richard

You need to test your physical RAM. Pop over to memtest.org, and download the bootable CD for memtest, burn and boot from it.

The usual cause for B_P_C is bad RAM, altho the other [very] rare cause is HP printer drivers.
