i am editing warp markers in large aiff files for laptop djing... the files are 40-80 megs usually. i set the loop length to 16 bars and place a warp marker at the end of every 16 bar loop, then advance the loop start point 16 bars so the start is the end of the last one, adjust the waveform view and zoom in on the end of the new 16 bar loop, set a warp marker at the right spot, repeat on and on. this is all happening while the loop is playing
live sometimes locks up when i'm zooming in and out of the waveform... it's a hard lockup... no mouse and the sound cuts out except for every ten seconds or so i get a brief snippet of audio, then nothing. then i have to reset the whole thing, which really sucks. this happens every half hour or so.
