"index failed: unable to open database file

i was getting it trying to do anything to my unsaved file. couldn't save anything because of this error. i almost freaked out because i almost lost the entire song. i killed the process and then rebooted ableton and recovered everything from the undo file.

that was scary.

Yeah I'm getting this a lot all of a sudden.
Moving projects between laptop and new workstation via Lacie Rugged drive (firewire 800)

Not sure what is happening and saved changes aren't always showing up.

This song/project is huge for a 3:35 tune... ... 19gb not including factory library samples.

Hello,

It seems your database/cache index is broken.
Please delete the "cache.cfg" and the index

C:\users\username\appdata\roaming\ableton\cache\index
