After much searching on this good forum I've a question relating to use of a 'Shift' key to temporarily change template/ midi channel.
What would be good is to to turn a key into a shift key, so pressing say 'shift' + Lower Left Button is different to just pressing the Lower Left Button.
I have seen much talk about using Dummy Clips - and I've tried to no avail setting Bank/Sub-Bank/ Program numbers in the 'Notes' Section of a Midi Clip.... How does the Bank / Midi Program change on the Remote SL fit into this? Can Ableton send the Remote SL an instruction to change the Midi channel?
Help anyone please?
