Multiple MIDI tracks problem

Heya,

If I put a drumrack on one channel (actually using one of the session drumracks) and program a four bar loop, then create another midi track with a part with a single crash cymbal on beat one an eight bar loop (feeding directly into the drum rack on the other channel), the crash cymbal plays late.
