Reaktor 5 Shutdown in Live 7
Is anyone else experiencing this?
I'm trying out different ensembles in Reaktor 5 (running inside Live 7.0.7) and every so often, Live audio output ceases and Live 7 gets very sluggish. To get sound back I have to quit Live and restart.
I haven't noticed a pattern yet e.g. happening with certain ensembles and so on.
Can anyone suggest what is happening? Is this a known problem?
Thanks
Richard
P.S. Latest versions of Reaktor and Live are being used.

Re: Reaktor 5 Shutdown in Live 7
My guess is you have an older computer, and your CPU is being punished by Reactor.craftycurate wrote:Is anyone else experiencing this?

Core 2 Duo, 2GHz
2GB 667 RAM
7200rpm HD
Win XP Pro
Novation nio 2/4 with latest drivers.
M-audio Oxygen 8 MIDI controller.
It's not CPU- I'm running at 10-30% on this project.
Thanks

Yes - I've done all that. I'm wondering if it might be the Novation nio drivers ...ewistrand wrote:Speedstepping shut off? Power scheme in Windows set to always on?
