sound stutters with ableton 7

I just upgraded to ableton 7

Have macbook 1.88 Ghz
2 gig ram
osx 10.4

When I use 6 tracks (impulse, sampler and analog), I only use about 30% of my computer power (on richt top corner, i think it's called UPS)

But my sound stutters, sometimes stops for a short moment. This is not acceptable for playing live, and really annoying for in studio.

I don't know what to do.

turn off wireless networking and if necessary up your latency a little.

which audio interface are you using ?
