Nocturn Automap issue: Blue Hand misleads

Post by baseinstinct » Wed Jul 30, 2008 1:01 am

clicking on a device's title bar makes blue hand appear on it. This symbol means that the Automap is locked on this device. But it is only after you close and open this device that AM really gets locked on it.

Conclusion:
Hand misleads.

Can anyone replicate this?

Where can this be reported to Novation? I haven't found their email in the Answerbase.

Hi baseinstinct,

which ControlSurfaces are selected in your
preferences? The blue hand in general refers
to one or more of these.

cheers,
Jan

Hi Jan

Nocturn. With Input and Output set to Automap MIDI. And the VST instrument is triple cheese by u-he.

I am starting to understand that the hand signals access via MIDI (I have channel 16 in Nocturn reserved for Live) - not via VST. Correct?
