[4889] Long silence after switching settings in analog

To reproduce:

Open default analog. Switch one of the waveforms to square or sine from saw. Play does not yield sound for about 5 seconds, then it kicks in.

Similar thing for vocoder. When you switch to pitch tracking mode, the sounds is very muffled for a while until you tweak the "low" parameter. I'll make another thread for that though.

(Mac OS10.5.6)

Hi glitchrock-buddha,

could you send a Live Set that shows the Analog issue to beta@ableton.com?

Best, Friedemann

Just to note I have reported this bug earlier as I also witnessed this.
I reported it in earlier testing and I linked a file using collab

This also happens on changing the tuning settings, octave, semi and detune.

Also on turning on filter and changing filter type, about 5 seconds of silence.

Make that almost everything, including the lfo parameters.

Same issue here... MBP - OS 10.5.6

I found that rather than waiting the 5 or so seconds for the sound to kick back in if you select the same waveform again its kicks strait back in. For example I switch from square to saw... sound drops out... select saw again from the drop down and boom sounds kicks in.

I also am experiencing this bug:

OS: OSX 10.5.4
Live version: 8.0b2

Use Case:

1) Start live and a new project
2) Drag Analog from Live Devices list to MIDI channel
3) Keyboard input will produce sound as expected
4) Modify the filter with the drop-down menu to the right of the 'Fil1' button, default is BP12, changing it to anything else will express the bug

Result: Analog will not respond to keyboard input even though the channel will show that input is occuring.

Notes: This bug can be expressed through other button pushes on Analog, but they all have the same type of result. No debug symbols were included in the binary so thats as far as I can go digging into it.
