Hi Angstrom,
I'm not yet sure what's going on. The colon is the account name should be a problem, however (since some of your databases work properly).
Other question again for the disk sizes: Can you check the size for all drives, esp. E:/, C:/?

Resolved for Beta 9
Either you guys fixed something, or I did.
My install process for Beta 9 was to rename any existing folders in
C:\Documents and Settings\username.COMPUTERNAME\Application Data\Ableton
EG:
\Application\ignore-me_Live 8.0b7
\Application\ignore-me_Live 8.0b8
to hide the existing preferences folders from the new install. My idea was to prevent a copy of the existing database and force a fresh one to be generated.
This seems to have worked or, more likely you fixed it.
I can now see the metadata in the Info view when flipping through presets.

Hi Angstrom,
we've fixed a little problem with the installation, which caused some problems, but only in some very obscure cases -- which happened to you only (as far as I could tell).
So it's nice to hear that it works now for you.
Thanks for your help and patience,
Gregor
