i closed Live after making changes to the set, through close window (command-w) and live just happily quit without asking to save. when i reopen the set, it opened it form the saved version (and didn't pop-up the "crashed last time" window)

Along the same lines I saved and it did not pop up a "saving will stop the audio" box and parts of the song dropped out while it was saving.
