[mma] Groove errors with "Hip Hop 3"

Post by adam maggs » Thu Feb 19, 2009 7:20 am

8.0b11 Macbook OS 10.4.11

Getting a flamming issue between 2 kits (Drum Racks) whose midi clips both have Hip Hop 3 set as their groove

No problems when changing both to Hip Hop 4 or Hip Hop 2

both clips have their grooves "uncommitted"
one clip was programmed
the other came from a sliced-by-transient audio clip (which I quantized 100%)

Do you still get that behavior with the latest beta, Live 8.0b19?

Seems it was my fault after all

when retesting it kept happening and was just about to post you - then I noticed the start marker in one clip was in an offset position of 2 beats
it meant the 2 clips were in sync, but of course the grooves weren't

(sorry to bug you)
